Dysport®
Dysport is a popular cosmetic treatment that helps to improve the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. This treatment is an alternative to Botox that many patients love to use for refreshing their look.
For the first time in a year my skin has cleared up. I thought it was never going to get better but thanks to Dr Ness it is 100% better. Thank you dr. Ness and for being such a concerned doctor.
What is Dysport?
Dysport is an injectable treatment that temporarily improves
the look of moderate-to-severe forehead wrinkles, frown lines, and crow’s feet.
This treatment is FDA-approved and helps to combat aging signs. Dysport is a
prescription formula made from botulinum toxin.
How Does Dysport Work?
Over time, as the facial muscles continue to move and
contract, creases are formed. These are called dynamic wrinkles and lines since
they appear as a result of facial muscle movement. Eventually, these wrinkles
and lines deepen. Dysport works by blocking the signal from the nerve to the
muscles that cause movement. This results in reducing muscle activity and
prevents the formation of lines and wrinkles. You can still make regular facial
expressions but, with Dysport, there won’t be wrinkles and lines. The Dysport
treatment takes around 15 minutes with results lasting for up to 4 months.
Dysport Maintenance
After the treatment, it is important not to touch, rub, or lie on the treated area for at least four hours. It will take approximately two hours for the treatment to take effect. Dysport temporarily improves the appearance of wrinkles and lines. To maintain results, patients can receive repeat treatments when the effects start to wear off. Additionally, Dr. Ness has a range of skincare products offered in-house to help your skin stay youthful and healthy.
